If you're here, chances are you or a loved one may be experiencing some kind of emotional distress, and we're here to tell you that you've come to the right place.
We see you, we hear you, and we stand with you, therapy here is designed by and for people of color seeking genuine connection.
Our therapists share your cultural background and know the weight of systemic stress. That understanding fuels every strategy we offer, from grounding exercises to boundary‑setting scripts. You’ll feel heard, validated, and ready to move forward.
From your very first session, whether in our cozy office or by video, you’ll find a space that feels both grounding and uplifting. We’ll skip the jargon and start with what matters to you right now: the challenges you face at work or home and the goals you want to reach.
Together, we’ll blend real‑talk conversation (“What’s the toughest part of your week?”) with practical tools you can use that same day, breathing techniques to calm your mind, reframing questions to challenge negative self-talk, and quick check‑ins to keep you on track between sessions.
You might find yourself leaving with a fresh perspective on a long‑standing worry or a handful of strategies for navigating microaggressions at work. Over time, those small shifts add up: more calm on tough days, more confidence in setting boundaries, and a deeper sense that you’re not alone in this journey.
My journey began in the heart of Macon, Georgia, where I was raised and later developed a profound commitment to serving others. In 2018, I embraced a new chapter by moving to Kansas, bringing with me not only personal belongings but also a deep-seated passion for helping individuals and families on their journeys toward healing and wholeness.
Throughout the majority of my life, I have been privileged to walk alongside people from various backgrounds, providing services tailored to those most in need. Whether in clinical, community, or outreach settings, my focus has always been on fostering resilience, offering support, and helping others rediscover hope amid their struggles. I am especially dedicated to assisting those who are working to heal from current or past trauma.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my role as a therapist is to create a safe, empathetic space where individuals can explore their stories, build coping skills, and move forward with renewed strength. Guiding clients through their unique healing processes is both a responsibility and an honor that I hold close to my heart.
As I settle into my role at Midwest Integrative Marriage & Family Therapy, my goal is to collaborate with clients and colleagues alike, contributing to a supportive environment grounded in respect, compassion, and integrative care. I am eager to connect with this community, share in its values, and continue my lifelong commitment to service and healing.
